The Economic Analysis and Policy Division of UN DESA and The Hope Group are pleased to invite you to an STI Forum Side Event on Strategizing AI in Education: Opportunities and Risks.
This virtual side event will bring together policymakers, educators, researchers, and private sector specialists to discuss the complexities of artificial intelligence (AI) in education and propose concrete strategies and guidelines to harness opportunities and safeguard against risks. Drawing on insights from different regions, the expert panelists will discuss emerging trends and promising practices in AI literacy training and education policies, and will put forward recommendations and actions for ethical and productive AI practices that support education, while retaining the essential role of schools in fostering holistic child development.
