The 40th meeting of the Least Developed Countries Expert Group took place virtually from 10 to 13 August 2021. The Group discussed progress in implementing its activities for 2021¨C2022. In addition, the meeting included discussions with representatives of the least developed countries on their priority needs for support, and with representatives of the Green Climate Fund, the Global Environment Facility and its agencies, and relevant organizations on providing support to the least developed countries.
