Africa Academic Conference Journal 2024
This journal has been developed as part of UN Office of the Special Adviser on Africa’s (OSAA) mandate to promote the critical nexus between sustainable development and durable peace in Africa. It follows the 2024 Academic Conference on Africa, convened by OSAA from 3 – 5 December 2024 at the UN Headquarters in New York, under the theme “Power, Justice, and the People: Human Rights and the Rule of Law for Africa’s Transformation.”. Together, the conference and its journal advance OSAA’s longstanding commitment to bridging the gap between African academia and policymaking, and to fostering meaningful partnerships that support Africa-led development and peacebuilding efforts.
