Mariam is the Founder and CEO of the Arab world’s leading positive news platform reimagining how stories about youth are told. She launched it at 21 to craft a narrative that reflects the ambition, resilience and creativity of Arab youth. Beyond media, Mariam bridges digital storytelling and youth-centered policy. Through TGN, she has connected 20,000+ young people to learning and leadership opportunities. She has also served as a Youth Communications Consultant for COP27, COP28, and COP29, amplifying youth perspectives in global climate discussions.
Named UNICEF Egypt’s “Most Inspiring Youth” (2023) and now a UN Youth Advisory Board Member, Mariam continues to prove that hope is both a message and a mandate.
